Welcome to HCLC!

The Hancock County Learning Center (HCLC) is a 501(c)3 non-profit childcare program that has been serving northern Iowa and the community of Britt since its start-up in 2021.

HCLC is excited to share that it obtained the Iowa Quality for Kids (IQ4K) certification in 2024 through the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

HCLC serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. We have classrooms that separate children according to age groups. HCLC is a play-based learning center that allows children to grow and develop through age-appropriate social and emotional interactive play learning.
